SIBTOSA HYBRIDS (DIPLOID)
Hybrids with 2n=33 chromosomes, which may be derived from the species Iris sibirica, Iris sanguinea, Iris typhifolia on one side and from Iris setosa with its many forms on the other side. Such hybrids are sterile at the diploid level due to significantly different chromosome numbers of the two parents. -  Sibtosa hybrids are healthy and hardy garden plants and produce long living clumps.
